Welcome to a world that shows mankinds true nature: A cover of an illustrated novel (DarkTown) that we are currently working on. It was created by V. S. Alexius and me. I developed the original concept and figure (which means that concept and figure belong to me cause they`re from my story), sent it to him. he then gave his part to it (basically did a rough new and better version of the background and figure in black and white), sent it back to me, we worked on the colorscheme and finally I finished the whole thing with coloring touchups, texturing, more detail and slightly corrections on the composition.

PS: Even I didn't think that we would get all the hardware problems handled to finish this work finally

PPS: Alexiuss worked with one of my older paintings ( Burning Heart by

Azurelle /The Tunnel ) as reference as he overworked our whole concept in black and white before he gave it to me.

Excellent collab! You and your friend are both very talented.

Looove the dress; looks super-satiny and slick. The shawl and legs look a tad rough compared to that and her beautiful face. Awesome, though, and very dramatic!

this is a wonderful work!!
i love the contrast of the soft sensous woman and the hard firey destruction of the city. It's like as she walks through the city the destruction is in her wake. like an angel of death maybe. really a cool, fantastic work of art. keep up the great work my friend!

Nice work, I really like the detail in the buildings and cars and good perspective, I like your colour choices also. The main figure is nicely done and provides a nice focal point.

The only thing I think could use a little more attention is the smoke coming from the cars: the long stream going accross the backround cuts the composition in two.

This is your best work so far, good one.

The impact of this piece is enormous. The chaos all around and the attitude of the character make a good match. The character is well balanced, and anatomically correct. Great work Azurelle! In fact, as someone said, this is your best work so far!

Azurelle that I also had linked for it..
He didn`t use this photo since he used my painting as ref.

Very cool! although 2 things slightly concern me.... her legs differ in complection and it seems as though the one knee is higher than the other, but other than that, its a great artwork! love her face! her fabric is well done and her skin is rendered nicely. well done!

the only problem i can see with this is that the main figure casts no shaows in the bacground, makeing it look pasted, otherwise, great work.

Good work - I like the idea of the doomed cityscape. It's like from a nightmare. Really makes me happy that I'm not at this place.

I love the overall work, but I the figure is somehow separated from the background. She looks more as if there was backdrop behind her than she was really there in ruined city. But it can be just me, and whats more it can be intentional - it makes sense aswell

very very great work. Everything I wanted to point out is already said. She's maybe over exposed according to the background. you could add some orange on her skin to fit with the rest of the pic, to make the illusion there's a burnig car in front of her.
